1. PROMOTE THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE SOCIAL ECONOMY OF BRAZIL

This projects aim is to offer proposals to the co-operative law of Brazil, trying to make this more appropriate to promote the cooperative movement in the current emerging reality. This work in based in a comparative analysis between the Basque Co-operative Law and the Brazilian Co-operative Law to, this way, carry out a document which will work as a debate-basis in Brazil.

2. STUDY ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EC REGULATION 1435/2003 ON THE STATUTE FOR EUROPEAN COOPERATIVES SOCIETY.ENTR/08/055

The purpose of this work is to make a sort of inventory of every co-operative registered as a European Co-operative Society, all over Europe and evaluate its success and reasons. Afterwards, it tries to compile all the European legislations that rule co-operatives and notice if these mean an incentive or an impediment or an obstacle to the promotion of the SCE (European Co-operative Society). Finally, this work makes an attempt to, based on the comparative analysis, make proceeding recommendations regarding the co-operative law and public policies about co-operatives in Europe.

3. PUBLIC POLICIES FOR THE CO-OPERATIVES' PROMOTION WITHIN THE LOCAL ADMINISTRATION

This project will be carried out to a European and local level, but having as a basis the local administration.

Its aim is to analyse the benefits or/and assistance which local administration used to outsource, and starting from these services and after having analysed the rules that regulate the tenders, propose policies to promote labour co-operatives, consumer co-operatives, mixed co-operatives...

4. BASES FOR AN INDUSTRIAL POLICY FOR THE BASQUE COUNTRY

The objective of the project is to analyse and offer some alternatives and recommendations for the industrial policies that must be followed in the current financial crisis' framework.

More than making specific proposals, the attempt is focused on giving elements for the reflection and something to contrast with, as long as for social debate as for the diverse public organizations' agents, business and trade-union's organization, etc.

1. LEONARDO da VINCI:HIGHLIGHT COMPETENCES

European Cooperation related to co-operatives' competences in the professional training regarding cleanliness and logistics.

2. REFLECTION ON THE AIMS AND BENEFICIARIES OF THE FOUNDATIONS

This project attempts to give proposals to the policies regarding the aims and beneficiaries of the foundations. For this purpose it has been carried out a comparative study about all the regulations of the Member States belong to European Union.

3. LABOUR CO-OPERATIVE LAW: REFLEXION AND PROPOSALS

This project tries to establish some bases to define some issues related to the labour law within the co-operative model in the Basque-Country.

4. IMPUTATION OF LOSSES TO WORKING AND WORK PARTNERS: POSSIBLE CRITERIA

This project's objective is to establish possible criteria for the adaptation of the cooperative regulation in terms of losses' imputation to each worker (which kind of imputation could be done in each situation from a economic and regulator point of view).

5. ADVANCED PAYMENTS AND RETURNS: CRITERIA FOR ITS DIFFERENCIATION FROM A BUSINESS MANAGEMENT POINT OF VIES

This project objective is the following: “To analyse and settle the differentiation between Advanced Payments and Returns in an Associated Work or Labour Co-operatives, suggesting systems which can make easier an efficient management of the mentioned limit from a business point of view”.

6. MATTERS TO GO INTO DEPTH ABOUT CO-OPERATIVES' ECONOMIC REGIME

This projects tries: “To tackle the analysis of the key matters or issues regarding the revamping and giving flexibility to the Co-operatives' Economoc Regime:

• Individualization of the reserve funds can be shared • The base to calculate the compulsory funds • The contribution's transmissibility to third parties
